With the recent announcement of an upcoming NISMO version, the Nissan Z (or Fairlady Z here in Japan) is all the rage right now. Ever since Nissan first launched the Z Proto back in 2020, the interest for the latest iteration of the Japanese icon never faded. Quite the opposite, we’re all the more intrigued, especially as the combination of the on-going chip crisis mixed with high demands makes the Z a rare commodity. So, when Nissan gave us the keys to test the new Z on its home turf here in Japan, they did not need to ask us twice.
